David J. Weis, O.D.
David J. Weis, O.D., joined Milwaukee Eye Care Associates in 2000 after completing his residency in Primary Eye Care at the Portland VA Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. He is a Marquette University graduate and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1995. He attended the Illinois College of Optometry and received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1999.
Dr. Weis’ clinical experiences include internship rotations at the Illinois Eye Institute, the Chicago VA Health System and in Nome, Alaska where he provided eye care services to remote Native Alaskan villages. He has also traveled abroad where he volunteered his eye care services to the underprivileged residents of rural Costa Rica.
Dr. Weis is happily married and enjoys bicycling, canoeing and skiing. He holds a membership in the Wisconsin and American Optometric Associations.
