Jay A. Heilmann, O.D.
Jay A. Heilmann O.D. is a primary eye care specialist and a native of Green Bay, WI. He earned his undergraduate degree in microbiology at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis/ St. Paul and Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Dr. Heilmann was elected to Beta Sigma Kappa Academic Honor Society. He also received the Achievement Award for Optometric Excellence while completing an externship at Fort Sheridan Army Base Medical Clinic. Dr. Heilmann joined Milwaukee Eye Care Associates in 1991
Dr. Heilmann is a member of the Milwaukee Optometric Society and Wisconsin Optometric Association. He has volunteered his time and expertise on medical missions in foreign countries to help others regain their sight.
Dr. Heilmann is a pilot and enjoys gourmet cooking and skiing.
