Michelle H. Pedersen, O.D.

Michelle H. Pedersen, O.D. began practicing optometry in the Milwaukee area in 1999. A comprehensive eye care specialist, Dr. Pedersen has had the opportunity to study and practice eye care throughout the United States. In 1991, she received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. She went on to receive her Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1995, where she was a Chancellor’s Scholar and President of the Optometric Student Association.

Dr. Pedersen has had internships in Virginia, Indiana and Florida. In 1996, she completed her residency in the Ophthalmology Optometry department of the Kansas City VA Medical Center, where her emphasis was on geriatric care and low vision rehabilitation. After her residency, she practiced in Georgia for three years before settling in the Milwaukee area.

Dr. Pedersen spends most of her free time with her husband, also an optometrist, and two children. She enjoys yoga, volleyball and many outdoor activities.
