Jaime D. Blanchard, O.D. grew up in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and has always been passionate about helping people achieve their best vision. She majored in Bacteriology at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and went on to complete both her Bachelor of Science in Visual Sciences and Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry.
During her training, she completed rotations at the Boston VA Hospital, the Chicago VA Hospital, and Omni Eye Services in Atlanta. Her areas of expertise include eye disease management, dry eye treatment, and multifocal and gas permeable contact lenses. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, the Wisconsin Optometric Association, and the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Blanchard believes in treating patients like family, taking time to listen, explaining options clearly, and using the latest technology and treatments to protect and improve vision. Education and prevention are at the heart of her approach to eye care.
Outside of work, Dr. Blanchard enjoys traveling to Las Vegas, going on cruises, and spending time with her husband, two children, and their pet cockatiel, Chubby.
