Michelle H. Pederson, OD began practicing optometry in 1995 after receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry, where she was a Chancellor’s Scholar and President of the Optometric Student Association. Dr. Pedersen has distinguished herself by earning Board Certification from the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.
Dr. Pedersen is a native of Minnesota, earning her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Hamline University in St. Paul in 1991. Dr. Pedersen completed her post-graduate residency at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, where she concentrated on geriatric eye disease and low vision rehabilitation. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Wisconsin Optometric Association.
Dr. Pedersen believes that thorough patient education is crucial to providing good healthcare. She is committed to taking the time needed to discuss health conditions and treatment options with every patient.
