Jason N. Edmonds, M.D. is a highly trained ophthalmologist, specializing in cataract, cornea, LASIK and refractive surgery. He performs partial and full thickness corneal transplants, manages dry eye, blepharitis, and other forms of ocular surface disease. Dr. Edmonds graduated with honors from the University of Missouri-Columbia, earning undergraduate degrees in both Classical Humanities and Biology. During this time, he placed multiple times in the Big 12 Track and Field Championships as a member of the MU Tigers Track and Field team specializing in high jump. He earned his doctorate of medicine at the MU School of Medicine, followed by a transitional internship at Aurora Saint Lukes Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After staying in Milwaukee to complete his ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, he then completed an intensive fellowship in cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery at the prestigious John A. Moran Eye Center at the University of Utah. During this time he performed cataract surgery, corneal transplants, and hundreds of LASIK and PRK procedures. His dedication to his patients is further emphasized by his continual honoring of Milwaukee’s Best LASIK Surgeon in the Shepherd Express readers choice awards.

Dr. Edmonds is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active member of a variety of professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, Cornea Society, Wisconsin Academy of Ophthalmology, and Milwaukee Ophthalmological Society

Dr. Edmonds enjoys skiing, cycling, scuba diving, and spending time with his wife and daughters outdoors at the lakefront. With his expertise and dedication, he looks forward to continuing to serve and improve the quality of life for his patients.
